Prepare ahead and bake when needed. Serve hot.

Cut slices of bacon lengthwise, then across the middle. Makes four strips. You will need several per person

Wrap each strip around a stuffed olive and pin with a round toothpick through bacon and olive so red end shows.

Lay on crumpled foil so grease can escape and bake in a medium hot oven ‘til bacon is cooked. Drain on paper towels.

Try bacon-mushroom wraps, and also bacon with tiny pickled onions.
