Burger Stuffed Zucchini

Cut a thin slice off one side of four zucchini 6 to 8 inches long. Scoop out insides leaving a shell to hold filling and place shells in boiling salted water for 5 to 6 minutes.

Brown and crumble 1/2 lb. hamburger and 1 small chopped onion. Drain off all grease. Chop the scooped out zucchini centers and add to burger mix. Stir in 1 cup basic sauce and simmer approximately 5 minutes.

Place drained zucchini shells on a shallow baking-serving dish and fill with the meat mixture and top with buttered crumbs and grated cheese.

Bake 25-30 minutes at 350°F.
