Canned Corn—Cream Style

If you are in a hurry, warm over a low heat with salt and pepper, small lump of butter and a squirt or two of evaporated milk.

For a nicer dish, put creamed corn in a baking dish, stir in a (little) salt and pepper and approximately 1/4 c. evaporated  milk for each No. 2 can corn. Top with a layer of buttered crumbs—six-eight rolled crackers mixed with 1 pat melted butter or margarine. Bake at moderate temperature til corn is very hot and crumbs are brown—should require 35-40 minutes.
