Carrots

Cooked or raw…salads, carrot sticks, carrot curls. Carrots are a main vegetable in soups and stews—even cake, cookies and pie.

Boil small or medium size carrots in lightly salted water ‘til tender. Drain and save liquid for soups, etc.

Cook diced or sliced carrots in lightly salted water and cream, as for peas.
