Cream of Potato Soup

Potato is best cooked, especially for this one, with onion, according to your family's tolerance. Paprika, diced celery, bacon bits, parsley, optional. Mash potatoes in their juice when done. Add a lump of butter or margarine. One medium potato per serving. Add 2/3 cup milk or mix per potato and heat again with desired seasonings. Addition of an 8 ounce can of minced clams makes this a meal, accompanied by possibly a peanut butter and/or jelly sandwich, relish tray and fruit sauce for dessert.
