Double Treat Frosting

Have mixer ready and put one large egg white in bowl with a few grains of salt.

Cook together ‘til it begins to spin a thread when dropped from the tip of the spoon.
3/4 c. sugar
1 Tbsp. white corn syrup
1/3 c. water

While syrup is cooking, beat egg white. Pour syrup into beaten egg, in a thin stream while beating. Beat ‘til thick and partly cooled.

Add 1/2 tsp. vanilla and 1/4 c. powdered sugar. Continue to beat ‘til frosting stands in firm peaks.
