Ethel's Candied Popcorn

1 c. white sugar
1 c. brown white
1/2 c. butter or margarine
1/2 c. water
1/4 c. white corn syrup
2 tsp. vanilla
Approximately 6 qts. popcorn

Cook sugars, butter, water and syrup ‘til it forms a hard boil in cold water. Remove from heat, add vanilla, pour over freshly popped corn and spread out to dry in greased cookie sheet (or form into balls). If you like it slightly sticky, don’t cook quite as long.
