Flummery Sauce

1 (scant) Tbsp. cornstarch
1 c. sweetened fruit juice
small lump of butter or margarine

Dissolve corn starch in 1/4 c. cold juice. Bring remaining juice to a boil and stir in corn starch. Add butter and spoon over plain cake or cupcakes.
