Fruit Flavored Sweet Rolls

Prepare Basic Sweet Roll Dough.

Proceed as for cinnamon rolls, arranging sliced dough on well greased cookie sheet. When ready for the oven, top with a glob of jam or marmalade in center of roll. Don’t spread—the heat will take care of that.

Bake 18-20 minutes at 350-400°F. Lift out of pan with a pancake turner. Frost or glaze with powdered sugar glaze around edges, leaving fruit to glow in the middle. (Zucchini and apricot jams in the jelly section are especially good).
