Prepare Basic Sweet Roll Dough

Butterscotch cooked pudding mix (reduce milk in pudding directions by 1/3 and add a small lump of butter or margarine)
Powered sugar icing (see Icings section)

Roll dough to 1/2 inch thickness and gently push toward center so dough wont shrink after cutting. Cut three circles with a large (46 oz.)juice can. arrange on greased cookie sheet and let rise ‘til light. They will look like oversized sandwich buns.

Bake approximately 18 minutes at 375°F or ‘til medium brown.

While slightly warm, split with a sharp knife and put together with hot butterscotch pudding filling.

Spread center top with butter, leaving 1 inch around edges bare and sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon. Cover rest of top and sides with powdered sugar icing. Cut in four pieces. Add chopped nuts to brown sugar topping, if desired. Don’t freeze with filling.
