Pickled Carrots

Nice for a relish tray

Peel, slice and cook carrots ‘til nearly done. Sort slices for size, if desired—pack in jars.

Syrup:
2 c. white vinegar
2 c. sugar
1 tsp. each, cinnamon and cloves (tie in cloth)

Bring to a boil, pour over carrots, Seal and process (hot water bath) 15 minutes.
