Uncooked Fondant

1/2 c. soft butter or margarine
1/2 c. corn syrup or honey
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 c. powdered sugar

Mix butter, syrup and vanilla in a large bowl. Work in powdered sugar and knead with hands. Chill and shape, as desired. Make centers of dates or nuts and roll in colored sugar, or dip in semi-sweet chocolate mixed 1 part paraffin to 3-4 parts melted chocolate.
